Police Investigate Assault in Downtown Sacramento Home

SACRAMENTO — Police are investigating an assault that critically injured one person in downtown Sacramento.

Homicide investigators with the Sacramento Police Department originally headed to the scene in a home at 11th and U streets after police told FOX40 they were investigating a “suspicious death.” It was later reported that a man found in the home was hospitalized and in critical condition.

The police department has not reported any additional details and a suspect is not in custody.

Parrish man’s death initially thought to be suspicious. Investigation has determined otherwise.

The death of a Parrish man whose body was found at a public boat ramp in Bradenton is no longer being investigated as suspicious, police said Monday evening.

Early Sunday afternoon, the Bradenton Police Department announced on social media that police along with the multi-agency Manatee Homicide Investigative Unit were investigating a suspicious death in the 2900 block of Manatee Avenue East — State Road 64 Boat Ramp.

The Manatee Homicide Investigative Unit investigates all suspicious deaths in the county.

On Monday, an autopsy was conducted on the 53-year-old Parrish man. Police now say that the man’s death was the result of a medical issue and will no longer be investigated as suspicious.

UPDATE: Medical Examiner rules woman’s death homicide

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) — UPDATE: The State Medical Examiner has ruled the death of a woman pulled from a garage fire as a homicide.

Cedar Rapids Police said the cause of death is not being released.

Police have identified the woman as 38-year-old Gina Frederiksen.

UPDATE: Cedar Rapids Police said a woman has died after a garage fire.

An officer helped pull the woman out of the fully engulfed two-stall garage. An ambulance took the woman to the hospital where she died.

Investigators said the death is considered suspicious, and the investigation is still ongoing. Police have not released the woman’s name.

UPDATE: Person of interest found dead | Morehouse suspicious death

MOREHOUSE PARISH, La. (KNOE) – Update – 12:25 AM

Authorities say the person of interest, Antonio Moore, has been found in Bienville Parish. He appears to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Update – 10:46 AM

Sheriff Mike Tubbs says the victim has been identified as 27-year-old Debra Harrison.

The body is being sent to Little Rock, Arkansas, for an autopsy

They say they are working a suspicious death case off of Celtic Lane, which is in the Bastrop area, toward Mer Rouge.

Tulare sheriff deputies investigating suspicious death after body found inside home – KFSN

Already calling this suspicious in nature, sheriff’s deputies say they are treating the death as a homicide unless they can prove otherwise.

It was 4 a.m. Saturday morning when sheriff’s deputies and firefighters were called to the 37 thousand block of Road 58 in New London.

Upon arrival, they found a car fully engulfed in flames. Unsure of whether anyone was inside the vehicle, they went to the home on the property. Investigators found the body of a man anywhere from 30 to 50 years old.

“At this point, we are calling it a suspicious death. We don’t even know if he’s a homicide victim but we are treating it as a homicide until we complete our investigations,” said Joe Torres.

Tulare County sheriff’s investigators worked into the late afternoon. Not only looking for a cause of death but determining whether the intent was to set the house on fire as well.

Medical examiner: Suspicious death being investigated near 92nd and Bluemound

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee officials are investigating a suspicious death near the Speedway gas station at 92nd and Bluemound. It happened Friday, April 27.

The call to authorities came in around 5:30 p.m.

According to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office, the victim is a male.
