Suspect arrested in suspicious death investigation in Munising

MUNISING, Mich. (WLUC) – Munising Police have arrested a suspect in connection to a suspicious death in Munising on May 30.

On June 7, officers arrested Jason David Sadowski on a warrant issued by the Alger County Prosecutor’s Office on the charge of Homicide, Open Murder.

Sadowski is currently in the Alger County Jail where he is being held on a no bond warrant, police say.

Homicide-Open Murder is a felony with a maximum penalty of life in prison.

The name of the victim and the cause of death are not being released at this time.

Police say the investigation is focused on a home on the 300 block of W. Munising Avenue.

Sadowski was arrested for solicitation to commit murder, two counts of torture, two counts of unlawful imprisonment and two counts of assault by strangulation in 2013. He was convicted and sentenced to 40-80 years in
