SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A man accused of stabbing a man to death in what deputies are calling a drug-related homicide was arrested Sunday, according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said a woman called 911 around 2:30 a.m. Saturday and said she tracked her iPhone in order to find her car and ended up locating it in a ditch with her children’s father, 29-year-old Maverick Johnson, dead in the front seat.
Initially, authorities said they thought it was a suspicious death but further investigation revealed Johnson had stab wounds on his neck and chest and the cause of death was homicide.

YANKTON, S.D. (AP) — Sheriff’s officials say they’ve made an arrest in the death of a Yankton woman.
The 21-year-old Yankton man was arrested Saturday in the death of 61-year-old Deborah Lynn Schock. Family members found her body in a mobile home in rural Yankton County on Sept. 7. Authorities say she had been dead for several days and that her death was suspicious.
The Press and Dakotan says the suspect is in the Yankton County Jail on $1 million bond.

MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Police have arrested a man in connection with a suspicious death in Manchester.
In a press release, police said the victim, Robert Lachance, 57, of Manchester, was taken to a hospital on Friday after a fight in the 100 block of Spruce Street.
Lachance had serious injuries and later died, police said.
As a result, Daniel Samaria, 44, of Manchester, was arrested and charged with first-degree assault. Samaria is expected to be arraigned Monday.
Police said it was not a random act.

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Police in New Hampshire say they’ve arrested a Manchester resident in connection with the death of a 57-year-old man in the city.
Police say 44-year-old Daniel Samaria has been arrested following the suspicious death of 57-year-old Robert Lachance, who was also from Manchester. They say they located Samaria on Saturday night and took him into custody without incident on a charge of first degree assault.
Police declined to release more information about the incident. It was unclear if Samaria was represented by an attorney. Lachance was transported to a hospital on Friday night after he was found with serious injuries stemming from a physical altercation. He later died.

Vancouver police say they’ve arrested a suspect in suspicious death in the city’s West End on Tuesday.
Investigators say they’re now treating the death of 29-year-old Kyle Vincent Gabriel as a homicide.
Police had remained at the scene near Pendrell and Thurlow streets since Tuesday night after Gabriel was found with life-threatening injuries. He was taken to St. Paul’s Hospital but died of his injuries, police said.

On Wednesday night, violence flared again near the same intersection when police arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with Gabriel’s death.
Investigators allege that during the arrest, the suspect assaulted a police officer and tried to hurt a police dog.

CARROLLTON, Ohio — The suspicious death of a 14-year-old rocked the quiet, rural Carroll County area earlier this year.
Fourteen-year-old Jonathan Minard was reported missing in April. Days later, his body was found in a shallow grave on a Washington Township farm.
It took months for investigators to secure an arrest in the case. Now, 30-year-old Matthew Little faces several charges, including involuntary manslaughter.

Jonathan is working on a farm when he complains of a toothache, saying he plans to call his mother and return home. His mother never receives a call and Jonathan isn’t seen again.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office organizes a search for Jonathan. Sheriff Dale Williams also reveals that a person of interest was questioned in Jonathan’s disappearance, but no arrests are made.

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances around the discovery of the body of a man in Co. Cork this morning.
The 29-year-old man was found dead at a farmhouse in Shanavagoon, Ladysbridge, at 7am today.
Gardaí have indicated that the man had a number of injuries.
His body was removed to the morgue at Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem is due to take place.
The scene has been preserved for a forensic examination and the Office of the State Pathologist has also been notified.
A man in his late 20s has been arrested in connection with this incident and is currently being detained at Cobh Garda Station in Co Cork. He is being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984. Investigations are ongoing.
The death is being treated as suspicious. The results of the post-mortem examination will determine the direction of the investigation.

Savannah police’s Violent Crimes detectives arrested and charged a 62-year-old man with murder for the Aug. 25 death of his girlfriend.
Police responded to a wooded area near the intersection of East 36th and Wallin streets around 2:30 a.m. where they found the body of Kimberly Donegan, 45, police spokeswoman Bianca Johnson said.
Johnson said due to the nature of her injuries, “Donegan’s death was investigated as a suspicious death.”
Later that day, detectives identified her boyfriend, Dwight Brewington, 62, as a suspect in the incident. Brewington was arrested and charged with murder, Johnson said.
Donegan is the 16th homicide in Savannah police’s jurisdiction in 2019. By Aug. 10, violent crime in Savannah was up 29% from that time last year.
Johnson said the investigation of Donegan’s death remains active and ongoing. Her autopsy will be conducted this week.

At approximately 7:15 a.m. Saturday, investigators were called to Guy York Rd in Angelina County in reference to a deceased person in a vehicle. The sheriff’s office said investigators, patrol, and their crime scene unit processed the crime scene, spoke with numerous witnesses and identified the victim as Joseph Williams.
