Perth: Homicide detectives at the scene of suspicious death

HOMICIDE squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman in Perth.

The woman’s body was found in a Perth unit and police are treating her death as suspicious.

Homicide squad detectives and forensics officers began examining the unit on Kathleen Avenue in Maylands after the discovery on Tuesday afternoon.

“At this stage, it is being treated as suspicious,” a police spokeswoman told AAP.

Fort Lauderdale detectives investigate woman’s ‘suspicious death’


FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Detectives are following leads Friday night in the case of a woman’s suspicious death in Fort Lauderdale. 

Detective Tracy Figone, a spokeswoman for the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, said officers found the woman dead at 807 SW 4 St., in the Tarpon River area.  

Diego Gallego, a resident in the area, said he and other neighbors believed there was a homeless couple living there.

Detectives investigate suspicious death in East Village

Police gathered at the scene of a suspicious death in Little Italy early Wednesday evening.

SAN DIEGO — Homicide detectives are investigating a suspicious death at a flooring-materials business in the East Village.

The death was reported in the 1000 block of G Street, according to San Diego police.

No further details were immediately available.

Homicide detectives investigate ‘suspicious death’ of man who had … – The San Diego Union

A man who complained of chest pain after a fight Tuesday in southeastern San Diego later died at a hospital, prompting detectives to open a suspicious-death investigation, police said.

Firefighters initially responded a little after 1:10 p.m. to the call for a 50-year-old man experiencing chest pain in a vacant lot near Imperial Avenue and Valencia Parkway in the Valencia Park neighborhood, San Diego police homicide Lt. Anthony Dupree said.

When officers arrived to provide “non-urgent cover,” the San Diego firefighters were performing life-saving measures on the man, Dupree said. He was eventually taken to a hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.

“Officers learned the victim had been involved in a physical altercation with another male, and after the altercation told a witness he was having chest pain,” Dupree said in a statement.

The death was reported in the 5600 block of Imperial Avenue in Valencia Park, according to San Diego police.

Homicide detectives investigate Anchorage man’s ‘suspicious’ death

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) – Homicide detectives with the Anchorage Police Department were called in after an Anchorage man was found dead early Tuesday morning.

According to APD, the man’s death appears to have “some suspicious circumstances” involved.

The call came in at 5:20 a.m., where patrol officers went to a home on the 3800 block of E 65th Avenue in reference to a report of a death.

There, a man was found dead, and APD called in homicide detectives to investigate.

Family members of the deceased man, who has not yet been identified by APD, were reportedly brought in for questioning by detectives.

Homicide detectives investigating suspicious death in Barrio Logan – The San Diego Union

Homicide detectives are investigating a suspicion death in Barrio Logan, police said Sunday.

Police were sent to Main Street and Vesta Street where they found a man lying on the sidewalk in front of a tire shop about 11:35 a.m., San Diego police said.

There are at least two tire shops in the area.

Officers later asked for assistance from homicide detectives.
