LACONIA, N.H. —
Investigators identified a person of interest in a homicide investigation in Laconia early Wednesday.
The Attorney General’s Office said Hassan Sapry, 21 of Laconia, is a person of interest in the death of Wilfred Guzman, Sr. on Friday.
Investigators said Sapry was last seen on Pleasant Street Tuesday afternoon and is believed to be on foot. He should be considered armed and dangerous, officials said.
Laconia police confirmed to News 9 that a search warrant was executed on Pleasant Street in connection with Guzman’s death.
Guzman’s death was ruled a homicide on Saturday.
A News 9 crew on scene early Wednesday morning saw the state major crime unit van parked on Pleasant Street, with police tape surrounding a house and multiple police officers on the scene.
The Attorney General’s Office told News 9 the investigation into Guzman’s death was ongoing.

KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A Kalamazoo woman who had been named as a person of interest in a suspicious death investigation is back in the County Jail.
32-year-old Melissa Sue Morgan is being held on a drug possession charge after she was arrested by Portage Public Safety.
She was brought in for questioning following a house fire on Wallace Street in February and later released.
The body of 31-year-old Zachariah Hayes was found in the debris and his death was ruled a homicide.
Fredericksburg police responded to the 100 block of Golden Leaf Court at 10 a.m. March 28 for a call for assistance. Upon arriving, officers located the body of Karen Woodall, 44, of Fredericksburg.
Police are also attempting to locate 45-year old Barry Sullivan of Fredericksburg. Police say he is a person of interest in the investigation.
Police say at approximately 10:00 a.m., the 911 Communications Center received a call for assistance at an apartment located in the 100 block of Golden Leaf Court. Patrol officers responded to the apartment and discovered a deceased female. No other persons were located inside the apartment. Patrol officers immediately set up a perimeter while detectives responded to the incident to begin their investigation.
The victim has been identified as 44-year old Karen Woodall of Fredericksburg
Sullivan is believed to be driving a 2003 Honda Civic that is black in color with Virginia license plate UVN-7771. The vehicle is missing two hubcaps on the passenger side. Sullivan may be armed and dangerous. Police say do not approach him.
CRESCENT CITY, Calif. — The case of a missing woman in Del Norte County has taken on new dimensions after the discovery of an as-yet unidentified body at her home. The Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office (DNSO) is now seeking her estranged husband for questioning.
The grandmother of 31-year-old Emiley Hughes reported her missing on February 1 after saying that she had not heard from Hughes since around December 23.
DNSO said that they entered Hughes into the missing persons system and created a flyer at the time, sending it to other local agencies and distributing it on social media.
As the investigation began, DNSO said that they were contacted by Hughes’ mother Rawnda, who corroborated the grandmother’s account. But the next day, Rawnda called back and indicated that she had heard from Hughes, who was “alive and well.”
