Gardai release man (33) without charge after death of 65-year-old

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The house at Johnswood Drive remained sealed off this morning as members of the garda technical bureau prepared to carry out a further forensic examination at the scene.

The dead man is from Eastern Europe and one line of inquiry being investigated is that he was assaulted.

It is believed he was found in the hallway at the bottom of the stairs.

Gardai were first alerted to the house shortly after midnight yesterday December 11.

There, they found a man unresponsive and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body was taken to the city morgue for a post mortem examination which is being carried out today at Our Lady’s Hospital Navan.

A 33-year-old man was arrested and questioned at Ashbourne garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

He was released on Wednesday evening.

Troopers release surveillance video in suspicious death investigation

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) — Alaska State Troopers are asking for information from the public about a suspicious death on Nov. 21 in Fairbanks.

Troopers say the death occurred between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21 — the night before Thanksgiving — near College Road and Aurora Drive.

AST released video from a surveillance camera showing a white Volvo SUV pulling a rolled up piece of carpeting down what appears to be a driveway onto College Road near the Aurora subdivision.

That vehicle was found crashed on Ballaine Road later on Nov. 21.

AST asks that anyone with information about either incident, or who may have seen anyone leaving the scene of the accident on Ballaine Road, to call Alaska State Troopers at 907-451-5100.

ST. MARYS, W.Va. (WTAP) – UPDATE: 05/26/18

Law enforcement in Pleasants County is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in a suspicious death investigation.

They are looking for a white man who is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs 210 pounds. He has dark hair and a distinct tattoo on his left upper arm that includes wings.

Authorities say on May 22nd, the man was driving a red 2014 Ford Focus with WV license number 71Z886. It matches the description of the victim’s vehicle.

He is considered armed and dangerous.

This is in connection to the death of Timothy Wayne Kuchne.

The 37-year-old was found dead inside a home in St. Marys on Thursday. The victim did not have any obvious indicators showing the possible cause of death.

Police release name, make arrest, in Wausau suspicious death

WAUSAU – Police have released the name of a 77-year-old Wausau man found dead by his daughter Tuesday and have arrested one man as part of their investigation. 

Lyle R. Leith was found dead in his garage in the 1000 block of Kickbusch Street in Wausau, according to police. Results are pending from an autopsy conducted on Leith’s body Wednesday.

Police release new details on suspicious death

Albuquerque police have released new details regarding a suspicious death that happened on Feb. 10. Police initially responded to a shots fired call near the intersection of Elm Street SE and Thaxton Avenue SE.

According to a criminal complaint, a homeowner fired his gun at three men after an attempted home invasion. The man who shot his gun says he was worried they were going to kill his mom because they held a gun to her head.

Juan Perdomo was shot by the woman’s son, and later died at UNMH from his injuries.

According to police reports, Perdomo’s half-brother Isaiah Marquez left without helping him. Marquez is now charged with aggravated burglary, conspiracy and tampering with evidence.

Marquez was booked late Thursday night and did not have much to say to reporters.

Detectives are still searching for one outstanding man and possibly another.

Police Release Man’s Name; Investigate ‘Suspicious Death’ in Fort …

Fort Smith Police are investigating a “suspicious death.”

Cpl. Anthony Rice told 40/29 News the man found was 48-year-old Josh Underwood.

Rice said Underwood’s body was found on Zero Street, but his car was located on Garrison Avenue. Officers are calling his death suspicious.

Police said there are injuries to Underwood’s face, but the injuries don’t appear to have caused his death.

Rice said Fort Smith Police are following available leads but there are no apparent witnesses.

The body will be sent to the crime lab to determine the cause of death.

Investigators expected to release more info about suspicious death investigation

CORPUS CHRISTI –

Investigators with the Corpus Christi Police Department say they will release more information surrounding a “suspicious death investigation” tomorrow.

According to Senior Officer Travis Pace, with the Corpus Christi Police Department, he says,”Officers were called to a home on the city’s southside before 7:00 p.m. Saturday evening.

Officer Pace says CCPD officers were dispatched to the 7900 block of Caribou Drive for a disturbance.

When officers arrived at a home, they found a person who was deceased and called out for crime scene technicians to document the scene.

Officer Pace says that he expects investigators to release more information about the death investigation Monday morning.

Halifax police release 2 detained in Clayton Park suspicious death investigation

Halifax Regional Police say they have released two people who were arrested in connection to a suspicious death in Halifax this weekend.

Officers were sent to 36 Montgomery Ct. in the early hours of Sept. 17 where a 20-year-old man needed immediate medical attention.

The man was taken to hospital by ambulance, but later died.

Police say they questioned a 27-year-old man and 24-year-old woman, both of whom knew the deceased, in relation to the death.

The pair was arrested at around 6:20 a.m. but released without charges at 8 p.m on Sunday.

UPDATE: Deputies release name of victim in suspicious death … – WSAZ

UPDATE 8/1/17 @ 4:45 p.m.
GALLIA COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) — The Gallia County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the victim involved in a suspicious death investigation.

According to the release, Robert Thivener, 68, was found dead at his home on East Bethel Church Road on July 30.

James Allen “Jamie” Drummond Jr. was apprehended Monday as a person of interest in the investigation.

No other details have been released.

GALLIA COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) — The Gallia County Sheriff’s Office has apprehended a person of interest in a suspicious death investigation.

Deputies have located James Allen “Jamie” Drummond Jr.

Deputies responded to a home Sunday night on East Bethel Church Road and found one person dead.
