Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s Office investigating suspicious death – KULR

HELENA- Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious death after detectives found a body around Cave Gulch Road near Canyon Ferry Lake.

The Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s Office sent a press release on September 19 saying the body of an adult male was found on September 18 while detectives were following-up on an investigation for a missing Helena man.

A family member reported the man as missing to the Sheriff’s Office on September 16.

The name of the deceased has not yet been released and the investigation is still ongoing.

Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s Office says there is evidence indicating a homicide, but they do not feel there is a threat to the community.

‘Suspicious’ death in Pride now looked at as homicide, sheriff’s office says

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is investigating a “suspicious death” reported early Friday morning. 

Sheriff’s office spokeswoman Casey Rayborn Hicks said detectives are treating the death as a homicide, but she said the investigation is “in the very early stages” and didn’t provide an apparent cause of death.

The incident occurred on Pride-Port Hudson Road.

Merced Co. Sheriff’s Office investigating suspicious death in Planada – KFSN

PLANADA, Calif. (KFSN) — The Merced County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious death in Planada.

The victim was found just before 9 a.m. Thursday near Childs Avenue and Ivett Road.

Deputies say they received a call from farmworkers in the area about a man’s body in the middle of a dirt road.

When deputies arrived they determined the man’s death to be suspicious and called detectives to the scene.

The Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is in the early stages and will release more information as it becomes available.

Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau Investigates Possible Suicide on Horn Avenue

1217 Horn Ave.

The L.A. Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Bureau responded this morning to a suspicious death call at a condo building at 1217 Horn Ave., just north of Sunset Boulevard. The building was surrounded with yellow tape, raising concerns from the neighbors in the West Hollywood Heights neighborhood.

Sgt. Mike Austin reported that the incident was an apparent
suicide by a man who appears to be in his early 30s and was visiting a friend
in the building from out of state.  The
final cause of death will be determined by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s
Office.

“We suspect no foul play,” Austin said.

Grant County Sheriff’s Department investigating suspicious death

GRANT COUNTY, Ark. – On August 23, 2019 around 7:00 a.m. Grant County Sheriff’s Department responded to 295 Grant 9, which is a county road in reference to a possible death. When deputies arrived they located Keith Alan Bailey 37 year old, white, male beside a camper trailer.

The death is suspicious and the Sheriff’s Department do suspect foul play in the case. The Grant County Sheriff’s Department Criminal Investigation Division is working the case and in the process of interviewing several people. This is very early in the investigation and there are more questions than answers at this time, but they are working diligently and methodically to find answers.

If anyone knows anything about this case contact the Grant County Sheriff’s Department at 870-942-2101.

The Sheriff’s Department does not feel that the community is in danger at this time, but would remind everyone to be aware of your surroundings at all
