Update in suspicious death in Little Rock yesterday


LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The body of the man was taking to the Pulaski County Coroners Office to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy and for identification.

Upon completion of the autopsy, the male was identified as Shawn Price, 39.

Update: Arrest made after man found dead in LR Monday


LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A man is arrested in connection to a suspicious death-turned-homicide investigation.

Little Rock Police said Wednesday Robert Johnson, 62, was arrested in connection to the death of Shawn Price, 39.

Johnson faces a First Degree Murder charge and was taken to the Pulaski County jail.

UPDATE: Body found in Utah park is NOT missing Mackenzie Lueck

Update: 2:51 ET

The humans found in Bill Flack Park are not related to the disappearance of Mackenzie Lueck, the Salt Lake City police announced on Twitter.

Investigators have found human remains an hour’s drive from where missing University of Utah Mackenzie Lueck was last seen on June 17.

KSTU reporter Erin Cox reported on Twitter that investigators had found a body in Bill Flack Park in Corinne, which is about 60 miles due north of Salt Lake City.

Lueck, 23, arrived at the Salt Lake City airport in the early morning hours of June 17, and then took a Lyft to Hatch Park in North Salt

Mon. 3:30 pm: UPDATE 2 – Homicide task force investigating Vernon suspicious death, fire | News, Sports, Jobs


VERNON – The homicide task force has been called out to assist in the investigation of the death of a man found in a burning home today.

Trumbull County Sheriff Paul Monroe, who responded to the scene, said the victim also had been shot in the head. Fire crews were called shortly after 1 p.m. to 5579 Warner Road NE after reports that three buildings were on fire – the house, the barn and a garage.

The victim’s identity has not been released, and investigators remain on the scene.

UPDATE: Freeport police identify victim from ‘suspicious’ death

FREEPORT, Ill. (WIFR) — Updated: June 5, 2019, 3:40 p.m.

A man found dead in Freeport earlier Wednesday morning has been identified, according to Freeport police.

Thomas Fort, 45, was identified as the victim.

Police say Fort was pronounced dead in the 500 block of Iroquois Street around 7 a.m.

An autopsy is scheduled for June 6, 2019.


Updated: June 5, 2019, 10:10 a.m.

Freeport police say a male body found this morning is believed to be suspicious in nature.

Officers responded around 7 a.m. in the 500 block of Iroquois Street.

The body is now at the coroner’s office.

The man’s identity is withheld pending family notification.

The body of a man was found Wednesday morning in Freeport.

Police responded to the call about 7 a.m. in the 500 block of Iroquois Street.

At this time, police are investigating and working to identify the man.

UPDATE: Man charged with 2nd degree murder, after death in Fosston

FOSSTON, Minn. (Valley News Live) — UPDATE:

Police say Nicholas Patrick Hauge, 29, from Fergus Falls is charged with 2nd-degree murder with intent not premeditated.


The Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call of a reported assault on 8th St. NW at the intersection of N. Mark Ave. A second 911 call from a different residence came in shortly after the first reporting that somebody is trying to break into their house at that intersection.

When officers arrived there was one male standing around that intersection and another male laying on the curbside, who was not breathing.

Deputies started CPR and Essentia Health EMS responded to the scene. The male laying on the curbside was later pronounced dead. The other male, Nicholas Hauge, 29, from Fergus Falls, MN, was arrested and transported to the North West Regional Correctional Center.

UPDATE: Suspicious death investigation underway in Munising

MUNISING, Mich. (WLUC) – UPDATE at 5:50 a.m. Friday:

A suspicious death is being investigated in Munising.

The Munising City Police Department says that at about 8:00 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to a report of a 58-year-old unresponsive man at his home in Munising.

Alger County EMS responded shortly after, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Multiple witnesses say the investigation is focused on a home on the 300 block of W. Munising Avenue.

The Munising City Police Department says it’s currently investigating this as a suspicious death.

Police did not say if they have a suspect in the investigation or if anyone is in custody.

Officers were assisted by detectives from the Michigan State Police, Michigan State Police Crime Lab and deputies from the Alger County Sheriff’s Department.

The investigation is in its early stages. The victim’s name has not been released.
