Troopers release surveillance video in suspicious death investigation

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) — Alaska State Troopers are asking for information from the public about a suspicious death on Nov. 21 in Fairbanks.

Troopers say the death occurred between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21 — the night before Thanksgiving — near College Road and Aurora Drive.

AST released video from a surveillance camera showing a white Volvo SUV pulling a rolled up piece of carpeting down what appears to be a driveway onto College Road near the Aurora subdivision.

That vehicle was found crashed on Ballaine Road later on Nov. 21.

AST asks that anyone with information about either incident, or who may have seen anyone leaving the scene of the accident on Ballaine Road, to call Alaska State Troopers at 907-451-5100.
