GALLIA COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) — The Gallia County Sheriff’s Office has apprehended a person of interest in a suspicious death investigation.

Deputies have located James Allen “Jamie” Drummond Jr.

Deputies responded to a home Sunday night on East Bethel Church Road and found one person dead.

GALLIA COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) — The Gallia County Sheriff’s Office says they are investigating a suspicious death.

According to a release, deputies responded to a home Sunday night on East Bethel Church Road regarding a suspicious death.

Deputies responded to the scene and found one person dead.

Investigators remained at the the scene throughout the night and into Monday.

BCI has been called in to assist in the investigation.

Cops probe ‘suspicious’ death of woman found half-naked in …

Police in Texas are investigating the death of a woman whose half-naked body was found lying between tombstones at a cemetery.

The woman, who has not been identified, was discovered by an employee Friday morning at Forest Park Cemetery in Lawndale, according to news station KTRK.

“An employee that does digging and landscape work here was driving a tractor through the cemetery and observed her lying in the grass,” Houston Police Department officer Brian Chebret said.

Authorities said that her death appears to be suspicious, news station KHOU reported. An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death.

The victim is believed to be between 30 and 40 years old, officials said.

“[We’re] just looking for witnesses that may have been in the area, last night or this morning, and go from there,” Chebret told KTRK. “We need to get her identified so we can figure out who her friends

Police are continuing to investigate the death of a woman at an apartment in the 600 block of Taylor Street.

Port Huron Police Sgt. David Seghi said the woman was 34 years old and a Port Huron resident.

He said the death was unexpected.

Port Huron Police Chief Jeff Baker said in an earlier email a female was found dead in an apartment. He said preliminary investigation show no signs of forced entry or struggle. 

“We are treating it as a suspicious death while investigating,” he said.
