Hartford Police investigate suspicious death | WTNH Connecticut …

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Hartford Police are investigating a suspicious death in the Capitol City on Thursday night.

According to Hartford Police, it happened on West Euclid Street. When they entered the residence, they say they found a deceased woman.

Officials have not released the identity of the person who died or any other details about her death.

No further information was immediately available.

Outpour of support for local entertainer after suspicious death …

OKLAHOMA CITY — An outpour of support can be found on social media following the death of an Oklahoma entertainer as authorities continue an investigation into the circumstances surrounding what happened.

“The medical examiner’s office is doing their part of the investigation and right now, our detectives are just waiting on their report to determine whether this is going to be investigated as a homicide,” said Officer Megan Morgan.

William Ogletree, 25, died after he was injured Sunday while promoting a wrestling tournament called “Battle of The Legends in OKC.”

He was performing a maneuver called the “spine buster” during the staged wrestling event at the Blue Note Lounge.

His uncle, Joseph Ogletree, tells News 4 the event was “unsanctioned” and adds the family is going through the grieving process as best they can.

BradChad Porter is a close friend of William Ogletree and founder of OKC Comedy, which promotes and books comedy shows in Oklahoma City.

SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) – The suspicious death of a 31-year-old man in Sarasota was ruled a homicide.

The Sarasota Police Department received a 911 call Monday in reference to a deceased male in the area of 22nd Street and Palmadelia Avenue.

The victim, later identified as Travis Combs was found dead on the scene.  No further details were provided.  Sarasota detectives said they are not ready to release more details about the case, but they’re asking anyone with information regarding his death to call Detective Kim Laster at 941-364-7327 or Crimestoppers at 941-366-TIPS.

Man wanted in suspicious death in state of Florida found in Kingston – Times Herald

KINGSTON – A man wanted as a person of interest in a suspicious death in the state of Florida was found in Kingston this past weekend, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office reported Wednesday.

Donald Place, 72, of Ormond Beach, Fla., was found by sheriff’s deputies in a vehicle in the Kingston Plaza at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, after Ormond Beach police told the sheriff’s office he might be in the Kingston area.

Place is a person of interest in the death of Debra Jean Place, 62, who published reports in Florida have identified as his wife. She was found dead at the Ridgecrest Mobile Home Park in Ormond Beach, Fla. on Saturday.

The sheriff’s office said Place also is wanted by police in the Town of Colonie in Albany County for third-degree grand larceny, a felony.
