Cause of suspicious death at Grand Blanc Township home remains unknown

GRAND BLANC TWP, MI – Police are still trying to determine the cause of death after a 53-year-old woman was found Sunday afternoon inside a Grand Blanc Township home.

Firefighters and officers responded around 4:30 p.m. Feb. 11 to the 2300 block of Southampton Avenue, between Fern and Frank avenues, off Saginaw Street for a call of a natural gas leak and an unconscious person.

The woman, whose name has not been released, was found inside the home by a family member. Police labeled her death as suspicious.

Victim of ‘suspicious death’ in Cloverdale remains unidentified, cause of death unknown – Surrey Now

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team continues to investigate the suspicious death that occurred early Sunday morning in the 17800 block of 64 Avenue in Cloverdale.

Corporal Meghan Foster said in a press release that the male victim’s name could not be released “as investigators are working to confirm his identity.”

“Pending the identification, a priority of our investigation will be to locate and notify his family,” she said.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team was called in after reports of a Saturday night shooting in the 17800 block of 64 Avenue, near the Cloverdale Millennium Amphitheatre Park.

When RCMP arrived at around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, they found an unresponsive male victim in a nearby residence. Despite efforts to revive him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Medical Examiner’s Office determines cause of suspicious death

The Arkansas State Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled that Josh Underwood died from extreme hypothermia, according to a news release from the Fort Smith Police Department.

Underwood, 48, was found dead Sunday morning at 2700 Zero St. in Fort Smith.

Investigators awaiting medical examiner’s ruling in the June 22 death of a 19-year-old Lawrence woman in a Braintree hotel room.

BRAINTREE – Two weeks after a 19-year-old Lawrence woman died in a guest room at the Hyatt Place hotel, the cause of her death has not been determined.

Investigators termed the death of Renia Rodriguez “suspicious,” and referred the case to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for a determination of the cause and manner of her death.
David Traub, a spokesman for Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey said investigators are still awaiting that ruling and the status of the case remains “unchanged.”
He said it continues to be under active investigation by State Police detectives assigned to the district attorney’s office as well as Braintree Police.

No ID, cause in suspicious death | Police and fire | www …

A man who died Thursday in the 3900 block of Lillie Street in what police are calling a suspicious death has yet to be identified.

Police were called to a home there around 1:30 p.m. The owner of a vehicle told police she found her stolen car parked and unoccupied at that location. As she entered her residence, she discovered a man inside who was unconscious and unresponsive.

Paramedics arrived and pronounced him dead, according to a news release from the Fort Wayne Police Department.

It has not been determined if the male was associated with the residence. Investigators were speaking with the homeowner to obtain additional information, the release said.

Details surrounding this discovery had not been released as of Friday. Neighbors said they believed one woman lived in the home where the deceased individual was found. Police guarded the home through the night of Thursday into Friday morning, another neighbor said.
