L.A. County Homicide Bureau detectives are investigating what they called a ‘suspicious’ death in the Crescent Valley Mobile Home Park at 23500 The Old Road in Newhall on Friday morning, according to officials.

A 56-year-old woman died there this morning, and the man who shared a mobile home with her was being questioned about her death, but was not taken into custody, said Lt. Joe Mendoza of the Homicide Bureau Friday afternoon.

Drobik said investigators are treating this as a suspicious death, but said that could change.

Police have not identified the victim or released any information about a possible suspect.

Bob Woody has lived in the neighborhood for 22 years and said he has never seen anything like this happen.
