Authorities seeking more information on ‘suspicious’ death near I-84 in Troutdale

Authorities are seeking the public’s aid to help determine what led to the death of a man found last Friday near Interstate 84 in Troutdale.

The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday that an investigation is still ongoing examining the death of Brandon Lee Miller, 29, of California. He was found in a field around 4 p.m. near exit 17 along westbound I-84 and pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff’s office said.

The county medical examiner’s office said an autopsy has been conducted, but an cause of death hasn’t yet been determined. The department said they’re awaiting more information from the police investigation to make a definitive ruling.

FBI offers $1000 reward for information regarding suspicious death on Navajo Nation

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The FBI is offering $1,000 reward for information on a suspicious death that happened on the Navajo Nation.

The body of Alan Jim was found February 7, 2017, in the southbound lane of County Road 7900, about 6.3 miles south of Highway 550 in the Chaco Canyon area.

According to the FBI, the autopsy results indicate Jim died from a blunt force trauma to his head and upper body.

The Navajo Nation Division of Public Safety is assisting with the investigation.

Anyone with information regarding this death is asked to contact the FBI’s Albuquerque Field Office at (505) 889-1300.

Loveland police seek information on vehicle in suspicious death … – Loveland Reporter

A white four-door pickup has been identified as a vehicle of interest by Loveland police in the investigation of the suspicious death of Ronald Dixon early Saturday morning.

Dixon was found dead in a parking and shuttle area for the Thunder of the Rockies motorcycle rally last weekend in the 6100 block of Stallion Drive. The Larimer County Coroner’s Office determined the 53-year-old man was killed by a vehicle that ran over him.

The white four door pickup has a black truckbed cover and was seen in the area of Crossroads Boulevard and Stallion Drive around 1 a.m. Saturday, a police news release said.

Officers are asking anyone with information about the vehicle or its occupants Saturday to contact Brad Templeman at 970-962-2290.

Dixon helped another man lift a car off a victim of a motor vehicle accident in February 2015, according to the Reporter-Herald. He was employed as a construction flagger for Loveland
