Suspicious death at Wyoming apartment under investigation | MLive …

Wyoming police are investigating a suspicious death at an apartment complex. 

WYOMING, MI – Police are investigating a suspicious death reported Monday, Oct. 23, in the common area of an apartment complex.

The victim, a 24-year-old man, was found around 5:50 a.m., at the apartment complex in the 2300 block of Prairie Parkway SW.

Police said the death is considered suspicious but did not provide details. Police did not provide a description of a suspect but said the public is not believed to be in danger.

Police expect to provide further details later.

UPDATE: Person of interest in homicide investigation dies of self …

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – UPDATE: 10/21/2017 11:52 P.M.

A person of interest in a homicide investigation in Wood County is now dead.

Wood County Sheriff deputies say Andrew Thomas Whipkey, 34, of Parkersburg, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a Go-Mart on 16th street in Parkersburg just after 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Sheriff Stephens says his deputies attempted to stop Whipkey for a traffic violation. That’s when he says Whipkey pulled into the Go-Mart and shot himself.

Authorities considered him a person of interest in a homicide investigation involving the death of Kevin King, 38, of Mineral Wells.

King’s body was found near the 5200 block of Emerson Avenue… outside of Parkersburg’s city limits on Friday morning.

Sheriff Stephens says the investigation into the homicide is ongoing, while the Parkersburg Police are handling the incident at Go-Mart.

Death of 82-year-old Bradenton woman under investigation, considered suspicious

BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) – Bradenton police officers were called to a home for a suspicious death Tuesday afternoon. 

Officers were dispatched to a home in the 2200 block of 3rd Avenue West.

Officers found 82-year-old Zelma Huddelston dead in her home.

The nature of her death is under investigation, but it is being investigated as suspicious.

A female neighbor was taken into custody at the scene for unrelated charges, but she is currently a person of interest in the investigation.

A 45-year-old man faces charges of first degree murder after his roommate was found dead inside their apartment Tuesday morning, Osceola County deputies said.

Suspicious death near Oroville prompts investigation

Butte County sheriff’s detectives are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in the Oroville area Thursday morning.

Deputies responded about 9 a.m. to a report of suspicious circumstances in the area of Crystal Pines Road, north of Oroville, and found a deceased man. Detectives launched an investigation due to the suspicious nature of the death, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release.

The Sheriff’s Office provided no details on the suspicious circumstances, saying that the investigation and just begun. The name of the individual has not been released.
