Big reward offered in Pa. mother’s suspicious death

Nearly six months later, the many mysteries surrounding 29-year-old Jessica Vecchiola’s death in western Pennsylvania remain unsolved, so her family has raised $9,000 toward a new $10,000 reward for information.

Vecchiola was found dead in her Allegheny County home on Feb. 6., having suffered an “internal decapitation,” which occurs when the head is snapped back and forth while the torso remains still, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Norman mother’s suspicious death remains a cold case, new reward offered

NORMAN, Okla. – Norman police continue to search for clues in connection to a Norman mother’s suspicious death.

On Sept. 25, 2013, police were called to a home in the 3200 block of Ridgecrest Court to check the welfare of 27-year-old Owachige Osceola.

Officials say the caller expressed concern for Osceola’s well-being after not being able to reach her.

When officers arrived, they found her front door open.

Osceola was found dead inside the home.

Police say evidence discovered during the course of the investigation led detectives to consider her death to be a homicide.

Osceola’s family and Norman Crime Stoppers are now offering a $40,000
