Police identify vehicle seen near suspicious Loveland death

Sept. 8 update: Police have contacted the people who were seen in the truck and do not believe they were involved in the incident. Police are continuing to investigate the case.

Story: Earlier this week, Loveland police asked for the public’s help identifying a vehicle seen near the place where a 53-year-old man died in an incident police are calling “suspicious.” 

A bystander found Ronald Dixon, 53, unresponsive in a parking lot in the 6100 block of Stallion Drive in northeast Loveland about 1 a.m. Saturday.

When police arrived on scene two minutes later, they found Dixon with obvious injuries “that are consistent with being run over by a vehicle or blunt trauma,” according to a Loveland Police Department news release. He was

A white four-door pickup has been identified as a vehicle of interest by Loveland police in the investigation of the suspicious death of Ronald Dixon early Saturday morning.

Dixon was found dead in a parking and shuttle area for the Thunder of the Rockies motorcycle rally last weekend in the 6100 block of Stallion Drive. The Larimer County Coroner’s Office determined the 53-year-old man was killed by a vehicle that ran over him.

The white four door pickup has a black truckbed cover and was seen in the area of Crossroads Boulevard and Stallion Drive around 1 a.m. Saturday, a police news release said.

Officers are asking anyone with information about the vehicle or its occupants Saturday to contact Brad Templeman at 970-962-2290.

Police are seeking the public’s help to learn more about a suspicious death in west Greeley.

On Wednesday, Greeley police officers responded to a residence in the 1900 Block of 44th Avenue. At the residence, police discovered a dead man. Authorities are investigating the death as suspicious, Greeley police spokesman Sgt. Joe Tymkowych said late Friday in a Greeley police news release.

Police are searching for a vehicle involved in the investigation. The vehicle is stolen, and the occupants are considered armed and dangerous. If the vehicle is seen or located, authorities ask that residents contact law enforcement immediately.

The stolen vehicle is a 2009 Silver Pontiac G6, with the Colorado license plate No. 561-VZC. The vehicle may have minor damage on the front passenger quarter panel and front passenger headlamp.

KBI searching for vehicle in connection with suspicious death in Ottawa County

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office are attempting to locate a vehicle in connection with a suspicious death investigation.

KBI and the sheriff’s office are requesting the public’s help in locating the vehicle, a silver Ford F-150.

On Saturday at approximately 7:15 p.m., the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call to a home in Tescott. The call was reporting a deceased person and when the deputies arrived, Matthew Schoshke was pronounced dead.

Schoshke, 35, was a resident of the home.

Authorities are now searching for a vehicle which they believe may be connected to the suspicious death of Schoshke. The vehicle is a silver 2006 Ford F-150 extended cab pickup. At about 8:38 a.m., officers received a call for a vehicle fire on the property of a residence in the 1300 block of Excaliber Lane. Officers responded to the area and located a deceased person in the vehicle, police said.

Major Crimes detectives responded to the scene and are currently investigating this as a suspicious death.

Police said since this investigation is ongoing, no additional details can be released at this time. Anyone with information regarding this death is asked to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240.773.5070.

Montgomery Co. police investigate ‘suspicious’ death and vehicle fire

WASHINGTON — Montgomery County police and fire officials are investigating what they are calling a “suspicious” death and vehicle fire Saturday morning in Sandy Spring, Maryland.

A vehicle fire was reported on the property of a residence in the 1300 block of Excaliber Lane at around 8:30 a.m.

Responders found a person dead inside the vehicle, according to a Montgomery County police news release.

This is an ongoing investigation.

Anyone with information regarding the investigation should contact the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070.
